If your current account is with another bank that’s part of the Current Account Switch Service, we can switch it to a Virgin Money current account for you. 

Once you agree a switch date with us, it only takes 7 working days and is covered by the Current Account Switch Guarantee.

With the Current Account Switch Service everything will be done for you. This includes speaking to your old bank to request the switch and the closure of your old accounts. We'll keep you up to speed with how it's going at all times.

You can do a current account switch* in the Virgin Money Mobile Banking app:
• On the summary screen, select the current account you want to switch to
• Tap 'More' and then 'Switch to Virgin Money'
• Follow the steps on screen to complete the switch
If you don’t yet have a Virgin Money current account, but would like to open one and switch in from your old bank, you can choose to do this when you apply for a Virgin Money current account.

*We can only switch sole current accounts in the app at the moment. You can switch joint current accounts by getting in touch with us or visiting one of our branches.
