You can use the Virgin Money Mobile Banking app to pay in a cheque, worth up to £1000, directly into your current or instant savings account. You can pay in multiple cheques per day, up to the daily limit of £5000.

Using your Virgin Money Mobile Banking app:
• Tap the ‘Payments’ icon at the bottom of the app
• Select 'Deposit a cheque'
• Choose the account you would like to pay into and follow the steps on screen

You can also follow along using our interactive how-to guide.

If you don't use the Virgin Money Mobile Banking app, you can pay in a cheque in one of our branches or at your local post office with a pre-printed pay-in slip.

Please note you can't pay in a cheque using Internet Banking.

  • It is animated and jumps about a bit.
  • Did not specify if paying in envelope is available from PO. If not, then need to go to the only branch anyway. Not good as App didn’t work!
  • Ccontrary to website, this is not possible. Agent on phone confirmed this, I have to post it. Assumes that everyone owns a printer. Agent says slip not necessary.
