You can cancel the Direct Debit to your credit card here. Please allow up to 5 working days for the cancellation to take effect.
If your Direct Debit is due within 5 days please get in touch with us. The Direct Debit process is likely to have started, which means we have probably already requested the funds from your bank.
If you cancel a Direct Debit due within 5 days at your bank, we will no longer have permission to take the funds. The Direct Debit request will be returned unpaid, you will need to ensure you make a payment for at least the minimum amount requested on your statement and tell us that you have cancelled the Direct Debit.
Important - if you cancel your Direct Debit at your bank and you don't inform us, we will still attempt to claim the funds for your credit card payment.
If you have a Virgin Money or Virgin Atlantic Credit Card and your Direct Debit is returned unpaid and you fail to make the minimum payment required you will incur a late fee and will also lose any promotional rates.
