You can make a payment to your Virgin Money Credit Card using the following options:

By Direct Debit
• For Virgin Money Slyce customers, your Requested Payment will be taken each month. If you wish to pay more off any of your plans, you can choose to add an extra payment during the payment option window to your Direct Debit each month from the payment option screen in the Mobile App.
Bank Payment
If you have a Virgin Money or Virgin Atlantic credit card, you can pay by Bank Payment:
• Tap the 'Payments' icon at the bottom of the app
• Select ‘Make a one-off payment’
• Choose the amount you want to pay from 'Requested payment', 'Statement balance' or ‘Other amount’
• Select ‘Bank Payment'
• Select your bank or building society from the drop down list or use the search bar to search for your bank or building society
• You will then be taken to the app of the bank or building society you’d like to make a payment from
If you do not have your bank or building society's app installed, you will instead be taken to their website. Your selected bank or building society will need to confirm your log-in details before authenticating the payment. If you cannot find your bank or building society it means they do not support pay by Bank Payments and you'll need to pay another way.
Payments normally take two hours to reach your credit card account. If the payment has not left your account after two hours, please contact your bank for more information.
Faster Payment
You can make a payment to your credit card by transferring money from your bank account directly.
You can do this using a banking app, in one of our branches or over the phone by contacting your bank or building society, using the following details:
• Sort Code: 40–64–25
• Account Number: 4132 0424
• Reference: Enter your 16 digit credit card number
Making the payment in the Virgin Money Credit Card app?
• You’ll need to Select Business Account and enter ‘Virgin Money’ as the name when choosing the recipient for your payment
• When you enter the account details, your bank will verify that these are correct. If this verification doesn't work but you are confident the details you entered match those above, you can still proceed to make the payment
The money will then be added to your credit card account within two hours of receipt of the payment.
Debit card payment (by phone)
You can make a debit card payment to your credit card, up to a maximum of £750, using our automated phone service. Simply, call our customer service:
• For Virgin Money and Virgin Money Slyce customers - select option 4 and then option 1
• For Virgin Atlantic customers - selected option 2 and then option 1
Please make payments at least three business days before payments are due. Your payment will be applied to your credit card account the next business day.
Business days are Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm, except for bank holidays or public holidays.
Debit card payment (in app)
Depending on the status of your credit card account, such as if you are late making a payment, you may be able to make a debit card payment in the Virgin Money Credit Card app:
• Tap the 'Payments' icon at the bottom of the app
• Select 'Make a one-off payment'
• Choose the amount you want to pay from 'Requested payment', 'Statement balance' or 'Other amount'
• You will then be asked to enter the information from the Debit card you want to make the payment from
• Depending on your debit card provider and the payment amount, you may be requested to securely authenticate the transaction
Please make payments at least three business days before payments are due. Your payment will be applied to your credit card account the next business day.
Business days are Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm, except for bank holidays or public holidays.
By post
To make a payment to your credit card by post, please send a cheque payable to 'Virgin Money’ and include your 16-digit Virgin Credit Card number in the payee line.
Write your full name and address on the back of the cheque and send it to: Virgin Money, Jubilee House, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE3 4PL.
We are unable to accept cash payments by post.
In branch
You can use one of our branches to make payments to your card, by either cash or cheque. You'll need a Bank Giro Credit slip which you can get from one of our branches or download and print a copy here.
You need to make at least the minimum payment, on time, every month. If you don't pay this you will lose any promotional rates on your Virgin Money or Virgin Atlantic credit card.
