If you have a Virgin Money or Virgin Atlantic credit card, you can pay by Bank Payment:
• Tap the 'Payments' icon at the bottom of the app
• Select ‘Make a one-off payment’
• Choose the amount you want to pay from 'Requested payment', 'Statement balance' or ‘Other amount’
• Select ‘Bank Payment’

You will then be taken to the app of the bank you’d like to make a payment from. If you do not have their app installed, you will instead be taken to their website. (Please check with your bank to see if they support pay by Bank Payments through their website). Your selected bank will need to confirm your log-in details before authenticating the payment.

Payments normally take up to two hours to reach your credit card account. If the payment has not left your account after two hours, please contact your bank for more information.

  • There is no one off payment in the bottom left
  • there is no option like that on my profile
  • Your information is wrong. There is no way to make an extra payment from a link on the summary page, it doesn't exist

  • When I click on bank payment it does nothing wont bring up the list of banks to connect with or link me to my bank

  • Have repeatedly tried this, I pay this way every month but it isn't working now. Unable to make a payment at all via the app.
  • It would help to know how the remaining balance is then collected. I paid a lump off early but need to be sure you won’t collect the full “Statement Balance “
