You can pay money into your ISA in a few ways:
Bank transfer
• You can send a bank transfer using the ISA sort code and account number. You can find these details on your account summary screen on the Virgin Money Mobile Banking app, on your bank statements, or in any letters you received when you first opened your ISA
ISA transfer
• You can transfer an ISA into your existing ISA by visiting our ISA Transfer Service page
Cheque
• You can deposit a cheque into your ISA using the Virgin Money Mobile Banking app. If you don't use the Virgin Money Mobile Banking app, you can pay in a cheque at one of our branches or at your local post office with a pre-printed pay-in slip
Cash
• You can deposit cash into your ISA by visiting one of our branches
Fixed rate ISAs may have a restricted deposit window, which means you can only pay money in at certain times. We recommend you read the terms and conditions for your account before paying money in to your ISA.

When paying into an existing ISA my bank needs to know the payee bank name. While the sort code and account number are given the bank name isn't.

I know how to transfer money to my virgin isa account apart from what the name of the bank is when my bank checks details of your account.
