You can use the Virgin Money Mobile Banking app to pay in a cheque, worth up to £1000, directly into your current or instant savings account. You can pay in multiple cheques per day, up to the daily limit of £5000.

Using your Virgin Money Mobile Banking app:
• Tap the ‘Payments’ icon at the bottom of the app
• Select 'Deposit a cheque' 
• Choose the account you would like to pay into and follow the steps on screen

If you don't use the Virgin Money Mobile Banking app, you can pay in a cheque in one of our branches or at your local post office with a pre-printed pay-in slip.

Please note you can't pay in a cheque using Internet Banking.

  • The local post office will not accept he cheque deposit envelope anymore. We only have online banking so how do we pay in cheques?

  • I have tried to deposit a cheque on numerous occasions to no avail, I have rebooted my phone several times now, yet issue still same persist.
    1. I want to pay in an 8000 pound cheque the nearest branch is 35 miles away ?
  • where can I print the pre-printed personalised bank giro credit slip - there is no link to this - you tell me I need it but you do not give me a link to print it
  • I have been trying for 30 minutes to take a photo of the back of a cheque, to deposit it. It keeps rejecting it.
  • This says you cannot pay a cheque over £1000 but does not tell you how you can pay in a cheque over £1000 and provides no link! So where do I go from here?
